Manage Elementor Forms Leads in LeadCentre
LeadCentre works with Elementor Forms through the Webhook action in Elementor Pro's Form widget. You add Webhook under Actions After Submit and paste your LeadCentre URL, and each submission is posted to LeadCentre as a standard form post, with every field named by its label. Each one becomes a lead, a push notification goes to your team's phones, and your other actions, such as Email, run as before.
Via Webhook: The platform posts each lead to your LeadCentre webhook URL.
- Nothing extra to install: the Webhook action is part of Elementor Pro's Form widget.
- Fields arrive under the labels you see in the editor, with the form's name, so each form can show as its own source.
- Phone alerts and follow-up reminders for enquiries from every page and popup form on the site.
What this does
Elementor Pro's Form widget runs a list of Actions After Submit, such as Email, Collect Submissions and Redirect. Webhook is one of them. When it runs, your server posts the submission to the URL you've given it, and LeadCentre turns it into a lead.
How Elementor names your fields
With Advanced Data off, each field is sent under its label, so a field labelled Email arrives as Email. Elementor adds form_id and form_name. Smart Match recognises plain labels such as Name, Email, Phone, Postcode and Message. For a label written as a question, such as What do you need help with?, choose the match yourself, or keep your labels short.
Leave Advanced Data off. It sends the form's details and extra information about each field as well as its value, which makes the matching screen much harder to read.
Elementor waits for an answer
Elementor treats any answer but a 200 as a failed webhook, and your visitor then sees the form's error message. LeadCentre answers 200 when it receives a post, including test data. If you replace your LeadCentre URL, update the form straight away, because the old one is refused.
Labels can change
As the label is the name LeadCentre receives, renaming a label in Elementor sends that answer under a new name. LeadCentre flags the new name on the key's card for you to match, and the old row stops filling until you do.
What happens when someone submits your form?
Step 1
A visitor submits the form
Elementor runs each of your Actions After Submit, such as Email and Collect Submissions.
Step 2
The Webhook action posts it
Your server sends the fields to your LeadCentre URL, named by their labels, with form_id and form_name.
Step 3
LeadCentre answers and creates the lead
A 200 tells Elementor it worked, and your saved matching fills in the lead.
Step 4
Your phone gets the alert
The people switched on for New lead alerts get a push notification.
Step 5
You take it from there
Instant Replies or Respond reply to the enquirer, and you call, set the status and add a follow-up.
What you can do with Elementor Forms leads
On every plan
- New lead alerts on iPhone and Android for the people you choose on the Team page. Business hours change your message wording, not whether the alert arrives.
- One-tap contact. Call, Text, WhatsApp and Email buttons on each lead, with your own templates.
- A clear pipeline. New, Contacted, Quoted, Booked, Won and Lost, with counts on the Home screen. In the app, tapping a contact button on a New lead's own screen moves it to Contacted.
- Follow-ups with Later today, Tomorrow, In 3 days and Next week shortcuts, and a reminder when each is due.
- Won values and win rate over the time frame you pick, so you can see what the site's forms bring in.
- Instant Replies, an automatic email to the person who filled in the form, worded differently in and out of hours.
With the Respond add-on
- Automatic SMS replies to new leads who gave a mobile number, from a dedicated UK business number.
- Two-way texting with each lead, and calls to that number forwarded to your phone.
- Lead Rescue, automated follow-ups for leads still at New or Contacted who haven't replied. It stops once a lead moves on.
- AI conversations, off until you switch them on, answering from your own Knowledge Base.
The alert is how your team hears about a lead. Instant Replies and Respond's texts are how the enquirer hears back from you. See Respond for what's included.
How to connect Elementor Forms to LeadCentre
You'll need:
- Elementor Pro on a plan that includes form integrations. Elementor's help says integrations are on the Advanced plan and above, and for Elementor Hosting on the Business plan and above or Sell+ Pro and above.
- Access to edit the page that holds the form.
- A LeadCentre login with the Admin role, to create a key and match the fields.
Elementor's guide to actions after submit describes the other actions, and its form submissions guide covers Collect Submissions.
- 1
Create a key for the form
In LeadCentre, go to Settings > Connections. Under "Add another key", type a name such as Homepage quote form and press "Create". It becomes the lead's source. Press "Copy" and paste the URL somewhere safe, as it's only shown once.
- 2
Add the Webhook action
Open the page in Elementor and select the Form widget. In the Content tab, find Actions After Submit and add Webhook. Keep Email and Collect Submissions in the list too.
- 3
Paste the URL
Open the Webhook section that appears, paste your LeadCentre URL whole, and leave Advanced Data off.
- 4
Tidy your field labels
Short labels such as Name, Email, Phone, Postcode and Message are the ones Smart Match suggests. Give every field a label, Hidden fields included, because the label is the name LeadCentre sees. Press Update.
- 5
Listen, then submit from the live page
In LeadCentre, follow "Next: test and match fields" and press "Listen for test data". It lasts 15 minutes. Fill in every field on the published page and submit. Your labels, with form_id and form_name, should appear under "2. Match the fields" a few seconds later.
- 6
Match and save
Check Smart Match's suggestions and choose a field for the rest. Match form_name to Lead source if several forms share this key, and set form_id to Do not use. Press "Save field matching".
- 7
Stop listening and check
Press "Stop listening", or your next real enquiry counts as test data. Submit the form once more and check the lead appears in your Leads list and on your phone.
What form data can you send?
Elementor sends each field under its label. The table shows labels Smart Match recognises, and anything else can go into a custom field, which you can create on the matching screen.
Tracking data needs Hidden fields. Add a Hidden field for each value you want, labelled with its exact name, such as utm_source, utm_campaign or gclid. Set its Default Value with Elementor Pro's Request Parameter dynamic tag, which reads a value passed in the page's address. For the page itself, add a Hidden field labelled landing_page_url and fill it with the Post URL dynamic tag.
Fields with those exact names are kept on the lead without being matched, and show under Attribution Details in the portal. Test by visiting the page with ?utm_source=test on the address, because page caching can stop a default value filling in.
| Field sent | Usually matched to |
|---|---|
| Name | Full name |
| Phone | Phone (mobile or landline) |
| Postcode | Postcode |
| Service | Enquiry type |
| Message | Enquiry / Message |
| Consent (a consent checkbox) | A custom field, such as Marketing consent |
| form_name | Lead source |
| form_id | Do not use |
| landing_page_url (Hidden field) | Landing page URL (kept automatically) |
| utm_source, utm_campaign, gclid (Hidden fields) | Kept automatically |
Managing enquiries beyond email notifications
Elementor Pro covers the basics of each enquiry itself. The Email action sends the submission to the address you choose, and Email 2 usually sends a confirmation to the person who filled it in. Collect Submissions saves each one in WordPress, under Elementor, then Submissions, where you can open an entry and export them as CSV.
That tells you an enquiry arrived. LeadCentre is for what happens next, often when you're nowhere near the website:
- the alert on your phone, sent to whoever is switched on for New lead alerts
- Call, Text, WhatsApp and Email buttons with your wording ready
- a status for each enquiry, so the team can see which are still New
- follow-up reminders, and the value of each job you win
Keep Email and Collect Submissions in your Actions After Submit, as a backup record in your inbox and in WordPress. If Email 2 sends the enquirer a confirmation, choose between it and Instant Replies, so they don't get two.
Reusing forms across pages and sites
The Webhook URL is saved with the Form widget. So a form copied to another page, saved as a template or carried over with a site copy brings the same URL with it.
- Same business, another page: that's fine. Match form_name to Lead source, or give the new form its own key so it shows separately.
- A new client's site built from your template: paste that client's own URL before the page goes live, or the first client's account gets the leads.
- A staging copy: remove the Webhook action there, or add
&test=1to its URL, which makes its posts always count as test data.
For agencies managing client enquiries
Each client's Elementor forms post to that client's own LeadCentre account. Every account has its own webhook keys, so the URL in a client's Form widget can only create leads for that client.
Say a web design agency builds sites for ten local trades from one Elementor template:
- One template, ten URLs. Keep the same field labels on every site, so a snapshot of your first client's key names and field matching fits the rest. Start each new client from the snapshot and paste its own URL into the Webhook action.
- Alerts reach the client. New lead pushes go to the people switched on for New lead alerts on that client's Team page, never to agency staff.
- Clients see only their own leads, in the app and portal. An Agency Admin chooses which features each client's people can use, such as Connections.
- Your team's access is set per client. Agency Users only reach the clients assigned to them, and cross-client reporting, on both agency plans, shows each client's leads, won jobs and won value side by side.

Respond's allowances are monthly. When one runs out, you're told and can buy credits for extra usage. Form submissions still become leads.
Common problems
Visitors see an error when they submit the form
Elementor shows its error message when the webhook gets anything but a 200. The usual cause is an old URL answering 401 after it was replaced, so paste in the current one, or remove the Webhook action until you have it. A 429 means more than 120 posts a minute to one key.
The matching screen shows long, odd names
Advanced Data is on, which sends extra details about each field as well as its value. Turn it off, press Update, send another test while listening and match the plain labels. Set the old rows to Do not use.
An answer stopped arriving after I edited the form
Elementor sends each field under its label, so a renamed label arrives under a new name. Open the key in LeadCentre, match the new name and save. If the renamed field was the only contact detail, those posts show "No name, phone or email" under Recent activity, and saving the new match turns them into leads.
Two forms on the site show the same source
They share one key. Match form_name to Lead source on that key, or give each form its own key so the key's name becomes the source.
Hidden fields for UTM tags arrive empty
A Request Parameter value only fills when the page's address carries it, and page caching can serve a copy without it. Visit the page with ?utm_source=test, submit, and check the submission under Elementor, then Submissions. If it's empty, leave that page out of your cache.
Entries show "Waiting for field matching"
The form was live on that key before anything was matched, so LeadCentre held those posts. Save your matching and they become leads, and a banner tells you how many.
Questions about this connection
How do I send Elementor form submissions to LeadCentre?
Edit the Form widget, add Webhook under Actions After Submit and paste your LeadCentre webhook URL. Submit a test while LeadCentre is listening, match the fields once, and every submission after that becomes a lead.
Which Elementor plan do I need?
Elementor Pro on a plan with form integrations. Elementor's help lists the Advanced plan and above, and for Elementor Hosting the Business plan and above or Sell+ Pro and above. Any LeadCentre plan works.
Should Advanced Data be on?
No. Leave it off, so each field arrives under its label with the form's name, which is what Smart Match reads best.
Can I get Elementor form lead alerts on my phone?
Yes. Install the LeadCentre app on iPhone or Android. Each new lead sends a push notification to the people switched on for New lead alerts, which an Admin sets per person on the Team page.
Will my Elementor form still email me?
Yes. Webhook is one more action in the list, and Email carries on as long as it stays in Actions After Submit.
Can I follow up automatically with people who fill in my Elementor form?
Yes. Instant Replies sends an automatic email on every plan. With the Respond add-on, new leads can get an automatic text, and Lead Rescue follows up those still at New or Contacted who haven't replied.
Can an agency use this across client sites built in Elementor?
Yes. Each client has its own LeadCentre account and webhook URL. Paste each client's URL into the forms on their site, including any built from your own template. See agency accounts.
